Aishwarya Rai and Abishek Bachan, the Bollywood Most Respected Stars were married two days ago and the response to the posting about the couple that I made on my main blog i.e. Syokkahwin has been nothing short of phenomenal. Traffic has jumped by 300%. People from all around the world particularly India have not stopped leaving comments at the blog. The trick is like this, since google or yahoo normally takes about 2-3 days to index new posts on my blog, I made an earlier posting about the marriage. Mentioned something about the wedding pictures. By the time the actual event came along, my posting would have been indexed and ready to be searched by people on the major search engines and guess what, when I checked it today, my posting was on page ONE, of google and yahoo out of 550,000 sites on the keywords related to the wedding.
